ABOUT
The name ‘Birrigan’ comes from the local Aboriginal word meaning ‘Beautiful’ and there is no better way to describe this estate’s location. From the Clarence River to the west and World Heritage rainforests leading to sandy beaches to the east, it is a place you will never stop adoring.
The estate name Birrigan Iluka Beach has been carefully chosen in association with the Birrigan Gargle Local Aboriginal Land Council – an organisation that represents the traditional owners of the land on which Birrigan Iluka Beach is to be established, as well as representing the local aboriginal people.
Birrigan Iluka Beach is a 15-minute drive off the Pacific Highway, allowing easy access to drive to Yamba – 40 mins; Gold Coast – 2.5 hrs; Brisbane – 3hrs; and Sydney – 7hrs. All while being surrounded by the idyllic natural beauty of the surrounding rainforests, Clarence River and beaches.
